Hokkaido is one of the magical places that will look amazing during any season. It has so much diverse beauty and the entire landscape just changes along with the time of the year. During winter, Hokkaido receives some of the fluffiest snow in the world. A perfect playground for those that love cold weather and layering outfits!
Matt + Chato loved the snow so much that we chose all the locations that would really get us to play with it. In the evenings after our shoot, we cozy up in small restaurants to eat some of Hokkaido‘s best signature dishes like soup curry, scallops, the freshest sashimi and a surprisingly good smoked skewered lamb sticks.
This was one of my last destinations before COVID became a pandemic and it holds a special place in my heart since the memories kept me company during the long lockdowns. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed Hokkaido!
