Pat is a baker that specializes in cakes. Elmer loves to eat the cakes almost as much as he loves Pat. When we were conceptualizing their engagement shoot, I wanted to make baking the central theme. Inspired by the summer in Amalfi Coast, we had lemon picking at the garden. Then, we took those lemons to the kitchen and served an outdoor afternoon snack with lemon chiffon cake and coffee. We capped the shoot off with a laid back, but elegant vibe - sipping on limoncellos and exchanging stories. I love how this shoot was very true to who Elmer + Pat are and took us on a trip to Italy at the same time. Ciao!
